It’s not long before you stumble across FAT BOMBS!
And you learn dark chocolate is keto!!

Which teaches you just because a food is labeled keto…
that doesn’t mean it won’t kick you out of ketosis!
When you end up eating too many “keto-friendly” snacks, your jeans may not approve.
You also need to pay close attention when you eat out…
to avoid unnecessary carbs.
Psst … don’t forget to read the labels on drinks since liquid sugar is the fastest way to get kicked out of ketosis.
(Even Diet Coke can cause a significant delay for some keto dieters).
Once you complete your research – you’re ready for a successful first week.
And you’re determined to stick with your keto diet, no matter what other people think.
In fact, you set up a brand new Instagram account with a catchy keto name so you can track your progress.
And you follow all of the big keto accounts so you can learn their tips & tricks. Like meal prep…
And not overdoing nuts just because they’re low in carbs.
You also learn the importance of meal planning.
Just when you think you’re getting the hang of this keto thing, a hunger like no other creeps in…
Surely you must have lost something by now…
But then you realize it’s only day one.
Your ketone strips tell you one story,
while your brain tells a much different tale.
Because all you can think about is carbs!
Even when you forget, someone is always there to remind you.

Finally, you get a sign that all of your hard work is paying off.
But keto flu is even worse than you were told…

Soon enough you learn those keto meanies aren’t worth it. I mean, you’ve even witnessed them argue over funny keto memes.
But you don’t care, because you’re on track with your keto weight loss…
And while you want to let all of the haters know that keto works…
You realize fighting on social media isn’t worth it.
But don’t get too smug, because if you cheat on keto…
There will be consequences.
Plus, your body will HATE you.
Like, really hate you.
Ketosis doesn’t care about special occasions…
It doesn’t give you a break just because everyone else is pigging out…
And cheating over the holidays always leads to additional days where you cheat.
So don’t do it.
Ketosis always knows when you’re lying to yourself…
And to others.
So when keto life gets hard…
Just remember to start with a delicious keto breakfast… and go from there.
Stick with it, and eventually you’ll hit your goals.
You too can eat fat and get healthy!
