Keto Trail Mix Recipe

A sweet & salty keto trail mix recipe. Perfect when you crave a crunchy snack on keto.


  • ½ cup almonds
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 cup dried strawberries
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Spread the almonds and walnuts on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, or until slightly toasted.
  • Remove from the oven. Allow the nuts to cool.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 225 degrees F.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the cinnamon.
  • Add the toasted nuts into a mixing bowl. Pour the cinnamon butter over the nut mixture. Toss until the mixture is well coated with the butter.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes on the lower oven shelf, while occasionally stirring the trail mix.
  • Remove from the oven and allow nuts to cool slightly. Then add back into the mixing bowl. 
  • Pour dried strawberries on top. Use a spoon to combine mixture together and pour into a storage container.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
