Weight loss on a ketogenic diet is easy once you understand the best low carb foods that work for your body. But what’s up with everyone recommending eggs on a keto diet, and what should you do if this keto superfood doesn’t gel with your lifestyle?
You check out this list of low carb breakfast recipes without eggs, of course!
Listen, eggs are a great way to fit in more grams of protein, while also eating enough healthy fats – but not everyone wants this healthy breakfast option as your only option. Keep reading to learn some delicious low-carb recipes that are quick, easy, and don’t revolve around eggs!
Low Carb Breakfasts Without Eggs Notes
Before you pick your favorite keto breakfast without eggs option, I wanted to provide a few disclaimers.
First, it’s important to realize everyone is at a different place when it comes to a low carb diet. Some people aim to keep their morning meal below 20-30 grams of net carbs, while others who follow a strict keto lifestyle choose only to eat 20-30 total grams of carbs for the entire day.
With that in mind, always check the nutritional information before you make any of these recipes. Some low-carb breakfast ideas are higher in carbs and won’t fit into a ketogenic diet. I also provide tips to lower the carbs in some recipes in case something sounds good, but may be too high in carbs to fit your keto macros.
Also, the nutrition information is provided in this post when it’s available with the recipe.
Finally, while some people are allergic to eggs – others are here because they’re bored with eggs recipes, like scrambled eggs and omelets. There are a few easy recipes that contain eggs, however, none of the main ingredients consist of eggs.
I added notes to the low carb recipes that include eggs in case you want to skip eggs completely.
