Maple Almond Bites

Skip pre-packaged keto bars. Grab a few of these delicious maple almond bites instead!


  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • 1 tsp blackstrap molasses
  • 2 oz dark chocolate


  • Over medium heat, melt the butter in a saucepan.
  • Once melted, add in heavy cream and whisk together. Turn down heat to simmer and whisk in maple extract and blackstrap molasses.
  • While mixture thickens, chop the almonds and line a mini muffin tray with mini cupcake liners.
  • Stir on occasion as mixture thickens, approximately 5 minutes.Β  Once mixture has a caramel like texture, remove from heat.
  • Mix in chopped almonds. Then spoon in 1 tbsp increments into lined mini-muffin tins.
  • Place in freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Melt dark chocolate over low-medium heat.
  • Remove almond bites from freezer and drizzle chocolate on top.
  • Place in fridge or freezer until firm. Store in fridge.
