Maple Pecan Fat Bombs

These delicious fat bombs have a nutty maple flavor without any artificial sweeteners!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz coconut oil
  • 4 oz almond butter
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp maple extract
  • 1 tsp blackstrap molasses

 

Instructions

  • Set heavy cream out so it comes to room temperature.
  • Chop pecans and set aside.
  • Line a mini muffin tray with mini muffin tins
  • Melt the coconut oil and almond butter together in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir with a whisk to combine.
  • Once melted, remove from heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  • Add in heavy cream, vanilla extract, maple extract, and blackstrap molasses. Stir with a whisk to combine.
  • Add the mixture to the mini muffin tins in 1 tbsp increments.
  • Drop chopped pecans into individual tins by hand.
  • Place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, or until firm.
  • Store in a Ziploc bag or airtight container in the freezer or fridge.

Notes

I don’t use any sweeteners in my fat bomb recipes. Taste the batter to see if these are sweet enough, or if you’d like to add your keto friendly sweetener of choice.Β
