Growing up, pork chops were my favorite weeknight dinner – but mostly because I loved dipping my chops in applesauce. Obviously this sugary side dish is a no-no on a keto diet.
With this keto pork chop recipe, I don’t miss the applesauce one bit. The garlic and parmesan cheese combo make the best flavor for these low carb pork chops.

Keto Pork Chops with Parmesan and Garlic Ingredients
While I don’t include many keto pork recipes in my meal plan, these juicy pork chops are a great dish my entire family loves. The meal is high fat for me, and high in flavor for non-keto family members. Not having to make several different meals each night makes weight loss on a keto diet a breeze.
The main ingredients for this tasty meal include boneless pork chops, grated parmesan cheese, butter, and almond flour. The recipe calls for dried parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika to spice up this keto pork chops recipe.
When it comes to the cut of pork you choose, you can go with a thicker pork loin or thinner pork cutlets. While both cuts work for this easy keto recipe, just realize a thick cut takes longer to bake.
Whenever possible, choose humanely raised pork with keto cooking. One of the best things about a ketogenic diet is it helps lower inflammation. If your keto pork tenderloin recipe is filled with the toxins that most conventional meats provide, that’s not a great way to reach your goal.

How to Make Keto Pork Chops
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Then combine the parmesan cheese, almond flour, and spices in a mixing bowl.
Once the dry ingredients are well combined, dip each pork chop into the spice mixture to create a parmesan crust. Then add the seasoned pork chops into a glass baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over the pork chops. Finally, top each pork chop with a tablespoon of butter.
Place the pork chops into the oven until they are fully cooked. The cooking time should take 35 – 40 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
You want the chops to reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Use a meat thermometer to check since you don’t want to overcook pork. This will result in meat that is tough and dry.
Once fully cooked, serve with your favorite keto side dish.
The Keto Pork Chops with Garlic and Parmesan Wrap Up
For best results on a keto diet, skip pork chop recipes with added bread crumbs. Stick to a delicious low carb recipe like these keto chops instead. They’re low in net carbs, but high in flavor – which makes this recipe an excellent choice.
Even though some people can get away with a little breading on a low carb plan, many will have a hard time losing weight with the inflammation even small amounts of grains bring. Don’t risk getting kicked out of ketosis by eating breaded anything on keto!
Keep in mind there are different ways you can prepare delicious keto recipes like garlic parmesan pork chops with a few small tweaks.
While I find using the oven for this easy recipe works for me, next time try cooking this great meal in an air fryer. This recipe would also be tasty cooked in a large skillet over medium-high heat for a delicious fried pork chops dish.
Looking for delicious sides to pair with this great recipe? My favorite side dishes from my keto Mix and Match Meal Plan include creamy garlic green beans and coconut fried cauliflower rice. Both of these sides take less time than the pork chops to cook, so you can whip them up while you wait for the pork chops to bake.
