When it comes to lunchmeat, always choose a higher quality brand like Boar’s Head. Their lunch meats contain no gluten, artificial colors, fillers or by-products. You don’t want any of that extra stuff in your low carb recipes since they can lead to even more inflammation.

My favorite keto-friendly marinara sauce store bought for this recipe is Rao’s pizza sauce. If you only have a jar of their regular marinara sauce on hand, that works too. Primal Kitchen’s marinara sauce is another good option for a low carb sauce.
The reason I prefer these low carb sauces for keto recipes is not only because they don’t contain added sugar, but also because both brands use olive oil instead of vegetable oils in their sauces. Believe it or not, even most low carb marinara sauce you find at the grocery store uses vegetable oils as a cheap filler. These highly processed oils lead to more inflammation on a keto diet.
Cheese
When it comes to the cheese, I use a blend of provolone and mozzarella for this keto crustless pizza recipe. If you prefer to use mozzarella instead, that’s a great substitution. Just do your best to find a whole-milk mozzarella cheese since this version doesn’t remove the healthy fats that you need for improved health and better weight loss results.
How to Make Salami Provolone Pizza
Let’s talk about how to make this easy keto recipe with all of the pizza flavor and none of the carbs that comes with regular pizza.
First of all, there are several ways you can make this easy pizza recipe in order to get your pizza fix. You can either heat the pizzas in a skillet, or add this to your keto air fryer recipes list since that’s my favorite way to make salami provolone pizzas. You could also bake these mini pizzas in a toaster oven.
Air Fryer or Toaster Oven
If you choose to bake salami provolone pizzas in a toaster oven or air fryer, preheat the oven to 360 degrees F and begin to layer the ingredients on a parchment paper lined baking pan.
Start by adding the salami first.
Next, layer on the pizza sauce. Once you add the sauce, then sprinkle the garlic powder directly on top of the sauce. A 1/4 tsp garlic powder should be enough to cover 4 mini pizzas, but use your own judgement based on how much garlic you enjoy in your recipes.
If you choose to add any other toppings to your salami provolone pizzas, you can add them after you add the sauce. Some great toppings include chopped vegetable toppings like fresh mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, and onions. Basically any of your favorite toppings for regular pizza will taste great on your homemade keto pizza.

To cook salami provolone pizzas in a skillet, preheat the skillet over medium heat. While the skillet heats up, layer all of the ingredients, including all of your favorite pizza toppings, directly on a plate and set aside.
Once the skillet heats up, carefully transfer the pizzas into the hot skillet. Allow the pizzas to cook over medium heat until the cheese melts. This should take around 5 minutes. Use a spatula to transfer the salami provolone pizzas to a serving dish.
